Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids is committed to continuing to serve our community during this time of social distancing due to COVID-19, regardless of our ability to do so in person. In order to fulfill our mission in these unprecedented times, we’re temporarily shifting some of our in-clubhouse program to virtual platforms.

We thank you for your continued patience as we work to intentionally bring these opportunities to our members!

Support Groups will be an hour and conducted via Zoom, a HIPAA-compliant platform that allows group members to meet by video and/or phone.  Note, facilitators will open the meeting 15 minutes before the group starts to help troubleshoot any Zoom issues as able. We encourage participants to log in early to ensure everything is working properly before the group starts.

Please note the registration buttons below will generate an email with a subject pre-filled for the program you wish to attend. We ask that you sign up for your class by 5 p.m. the day before to ensure we have time to process your registration. If you don’t see a button near the program you wish to attend, please call 616.453.8300 to talk to a program staff.

Need help getting on Zoom? We’re happy to help walk you through how to join a Zoom meeting and practice with you. Please call the clubhouse to set up a one-on-one appointment with a member of our team.

Gilda’s Club values the physical, emotional and mental health of our members, and we also value their cyber safety.  Since opening our virtual clubhouse to assist members, we have followed and continue to follow evolving industry online safety guidelines.  While no online platform can 100% secure, the best practices we have in place ensure that members and staff are as safe as possible when they connect. These practices include a BAA agreement with Zoom ensuring HIPPA compliance, end to end meeting encryption, and password protected, private meetings.  For those who may not have ready access to the Internet or may not feel comfortable online, the option to call into our virtual support groups is always available.
