Cooking Matters® presented by the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids & Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids
Friday, June 19 and 26, July 17, 24, and 31, and August 7 (no class on July 3 and July 10), 10:30 am- 12:30 pm
Food skills taught in the free, six-week Cooking Matters® course help make healthy eating a daily reality. One parent and one child age 8 or older can register as a team to experience hands-on cooking and food tasting taught by a volunteer chef and nutrition expert. Learn to shop smarter, make healthy food choices, and cook delicious, affordable meals. Adult participants take home a bag of groceries at the end of each class. Participants must commit to attending all six weeks. Class size is limited, so register early!
