Professional Program Staff – Part Time
Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced, MI state licensed mental health professional for a part-time position (15-20 hour per week) as part of our dynamic and committed team. Credentials required include MSW/LCSW, MFT or LPC prepared, minimum of three years’ experience in individual/support group facilitation, with the ability to work with matters surrounding chronic and life-threatening illness, grief, and trauma. Childhood Coordinator – Part Time
Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced early childhood educator for a part-time position (6-10 hours per week) to engage and supervise children as part of our dynamic and committed team. Credentials required include a bachelor’s degree and minimum of five years of work experience in the field of early childhood education. A motivated self-starter committed to service and excellence, who is flexible, able to compliment the team of staff and volunteers currently in place, with sound judgement and a sense of humor would be a great fit in this position. This position requires someone possessing compassion for those living with cancer and grief and has the capacity to discuss cancer and grief as a part of life. The ideal individual will assist in planning, organizing and carrying out developmentally appropriate childcare for children, including coordinating play activities, personal care of children as needed, snack/meal preparation, and additional interaction with children.
